When updating the web site it is often necessary to remove pages that have been shown for a period of time even though they may still be of interest.     The Archive section has been set up to preserve these.

Oops! This is a 30 mph limit!

During the week beginning 8th September 2003 the Speed Indicating Device (SID) was used in Bierton to monitor the speed of traffic.

It was shown that only a small percentage of motorists exceed the 40 mph speed limit on Aylesbury  Road but on Burcott Lane over 50% of motorists exceeded the 30 mph limit.

 

In July 2004, the Parish Council put forward propsals for changes and upgrades to the rights of way in Bierton with Broughton Parish.  

The proposals included improvements to existing footpaths and the creation of new rights of way
