Brief History
Bierton Football Club were first registered with the Berks and Bucks Football Association in 1919.
The club had little success until after the 2nd world war. In the 1950’s they won the Oving Village Cup four times in a row, 1953 – 1956 which no other club has achieved since. They were also runners up for the next three years.
In 1955/56 season they won six trophies, the most notable of these was winning the Berks and Bucks Junior Cup. Bierton F.C. was the first club from the Aylesbury and District League to achieve this feat.
In the 1960’s Bierton F.C. continued winning more silverware.
In the 70’s and 80’s there was a barren period but by the late 90’s success was again with the club, gaining promotion back to the Premier Division of the Aylesbury and District League and the Reserves promoted to the first division.
In 2000 Bierton won the Marsworth Senior Cup and in 2003 they reached the Oving Village Cup final after an absence of forty-four years, only to be beaten after a replay.
