Short Mat Bowls is a scaled down version of indoor bowling,  played on a lightweight bowling carpet measuring 45 feet by 6 feet.   More information about the sport can be obtained from the Short Mat Bowls web site.  

The sessions are held at the Sports Centre most Wednesday afternoons from 2:30 pm to 5.00 pm. Charges are £2.20 per session.   All equipment is provided,  you do not need to bring along your own bowls.
