To all our residents, The Councillors and Clerk wish a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.


The Parish Council would like to thank all the distributors of the village diary and those involved in its production for their hard work throughout the year.

A Community Policeman has now been appointed for Bierton and Broughton.    He is

1st Bierton Scout Group would like to thank the villagers for their continued support at our firework night. The money raised has provided a significant contribution towards our much needed equipment fund campaign.


Sadly, Frances King has decided to discontinue her Wednesday Fun Fitness courses at the Sports Centre. We would like to thank her for her dedication to the classes during the nine years since the Centre was first opened - and Frances would like to thank all those who have attended in this time – and are funnier & fitter as a result!

Mobile Library


From November 2008 the Mobile Library will only visit Bierton on alternate Fridays from 11.35 to 12.20,  stopping at Great Lane.   An alternative monthly delivered service will be offered to any individual user who is unable to visit another library.

Bus Services


Bus service 165 runs twice on Fridays only in an anticlockwise loop :  Bus Station > Stocklake > Burcott Lane > Aylesbury Road.

It stops near William Hill Drive, Burcott Lane at 10:36 & 12:01 and returns from the Bus Station 11:50 & 2:15. It will stop on demand anywhere it is safe to on Burcott Lane.

Fares are £1.20 single, £2 return.
