Bierton, Broughton and Kingsbrook Parish Councils have produced a Draft Neighbourhood Plan covering the combined parish area.

We are writing to you because you have previously commented on the neighbourhood plan, or are a statutory body we need to inform.

The Neighbourhood Plan is being publicised for six weeks in advance of an examination. The consultation period runs until 12th May 2022.The neighbourhood plan documents, comment form and further information can be found on the Your Voice Bucks website…/bierton…

Please note all comments must be received in writing by the Council’s Planning Policy Team before midnight on 12th May 2022. Any comments received after this time will not be accepted or taken into account.

Next Steps*Comments received in writing by the deadline will be submitted to an independent examiner who will assess to see if the plan meets the basic conditions as set out in the regulations, taking into account representations received.*Assuming the plan passes the examination, possibly with modifications, Buckinghamshire Council will then undertake a referendum within a defined area.*The referendum area will cover the combined parish area but may be expanded as a result of the examination to include adjoining areas. If you wish to be notified of the local planning authority’s decision under regulation 19 regarding proceeding to referendum, please make this clear in your response. If 50%+ of voters vote ‘YES’ to the plan in the referendum it will be made part of the Development Plan for Buckinghamshire Council.

You should note that at this stage although all comments received in accordance with the above procedures will be taken into account, the Council will not be sending individual acknowledgements or replies.
