Bierton Neighbourhood Plan Update

A referendum on the Neighbourhood Plan for Bierton was held on 17 July 2025. 

The referendum asked, ‘Do you want Buckinghamshire Council to use the Neighbourhood Plan for Bierton to help it decide planning applications in the neighbourhood area?’ 

• Total number of votes cast: 515 
• Number cast in favour of ‘YES’: 482 
• Number cast in favour of ‘NO’: 33 
• Number of ballot papers rejected: 0 

As 50%+ of voters voted ‘YES’ in the referendum, the Bierton Neighbourhood Plan is part of the development plan from 18 July 2025.
